Green Travel Grant – Choose Sustainability for Your Erasmus Mobility! 

Green travel options include: 

• Train 

• Long-distance buses 

• Bicycle 

• Carpooling (when multiple travelers share a car) 

Important! Airplanes and ships do not qualify as green travel options, meaning their use will make you ineligible for the grant. 

• At least 51% of your total journey must be completed using green transportation. 

1. For example, a flight combined with a bus trip is not eligible if the flight accounts for more than half of the journey. 

• You must indicate your intention to travel green when applying by selecting the appropriate option on the application form. 

• Environmental protection – Low-carbon transportation helps reduce your ecological footprint. 

• Financial support – The 50 EUR grant can help cover your travel expenses. 

• Leading by example – As an Erasmus participant, you can play a key role in promoting sustainability. 

1. Indicate your green travel choice on the application form during the registration process. 
2. Provide proof of your green travel—such as tickets, reservations, or other supporting documents.
