Student Visa in Hungary
EU and EEA citizens do not need to hold a student visa to enter Hungary. Non-EEA citizens must have a valid student visa to study in Hungary. We highly recommend all applicants to study carefully the current legislation concerning the visa and the residence permit at the Hungarian Embassy or Consulate in their home country.

The tuition fees at METU for students who are a citizen of the European Union vary between 1950-2950 EUR/semester depending on the study field. For non-EU students the tuition fees vary between 2600-3800 EUR/semester.
