METU’s Vice Rector Reelected as Co-Chair at the World’s Largest Political Science Conference

Budapest Metropolitan University proudly announces that Dr. habil. Péter Rada, Vice Rector for International Affairs, was reelected as Co-Chair of Research Committee RC40 “World Orders” at the 27th IPSA World Congress of Political Science, held this year in Seoul.

The IPSA World Congress is the largest global gathering of political science scholars, bringing together thousands of researchers and institutions. This year the event was opened by Ban Ki-moon, former Secretary General of the United Nations and Lee Jae Myung, the President of the Republic of Korea.

Dr. Rada played a prominent role at the event, convening 9 panels, chairing 2, and delivering a presentation on the implications of changes in the international order.

The Congress also marked the renewal and strengthening of IPSA’s global leadership and research networks.

Dr. Rada’s reappointment for another two-year term reflects not only his academic leadership but also METU’s growing presence on the international stage.
