The METU Student Clubs autumn semester has officially started!
2026-09-30
Nearly 60 students joined our Club Choosing Event at the beginning of the semester. The event gave students the opportunity to discover METU's active clubs, meet the club leaders, and even introduce ideas for completely new student communities.
During the event, club leaders presented their plans, programs and ideas for the semester. The presentations took place in a friendly and enthusiastic atmosphere, and several new initiatives were launched, including the Writers' Club. At the same time, many of our existing communities remain active, including the Crochet Club, D&D Club, Game Club and Music Club.
Students who were unable to attend the event can still join the Student Clubs community. They can find information about the available clubs and contact the club leaders through the METU website, as well as request to join the clubs' WhatsApp groups.
Students are welcome to participate in more than one club at the same time, giving everyone the opportunity to explore different interests, meet new people and become part of METU's creative student community.
At the end of the semester, we will celebrate the clubs' activities together at a special Club Closing Event, where the communities will have the opportunity to showcase what they have created and experienced throughout the semester.
We warmly welcome all students to join the METU Student Clubs creative community!
