We kicked off the semester with our first Mentor Program team-building event!

On October 1, we held the first team-building event of the METU Mentor Program for the Fall 2026 semester: our Game Night at Nem Adom Fel Café.

An important part of the Mentor Program is making sure that our international students not only receive support with university life, but also find a community and feel at home at METU. Alongside the 1:1 support provided by our mentors, we regularly organize events where students can meet each other, make new friends, and create memorable experiences together.

Our first event brought together 25 students and 6 mentors. The mentors prepared a variety of games and team activities focusing on getting to know each other, cooperation and creativity – with plenty of laughter and a great atmosphere throughout the evening.

Nem Adom Fel Café already knows our METU community well and always welcomes our students warmly. Once again, they provided a friendly and welcoming environment, along with great food and drinks for the event.

Our students had a wonderful time, many new connections and friendships were formed, and we agreed to meet again at our next team-building event at the end of October.
