"Of late, it's really difficult for everyone to pursue their task in an incessant continent. I personally could not be able to do my Diploma task as I and my mentor Mr. Revesz Tamas planned to make a photo essay on gypsy people. But by the utmost cooperation and support from all my teachers I finally made it possible during the quarantine to do my Diploma work on the other way by selecting a few of my best photographs taken during the course I never felt doomed or helpless on how to accomplish my task rather it was easier to carry on the task hassle free. Thank you so much to all my respected teachers for cooperating me to complete my final task. "

"For us, working in quarantine and staying motivated was a tricky beast to tackle but with a little hard work and commitment and with the help of different file-sharing and video conferencing platforms, we managed to keep in touch with each other and move the project forward just like we were working right next to each
other. No matter how our diploma project ends up, we will always consider this a huge success and a valuable achievement because it reminds us of the days where working seemed impossible but we still managed to do it.
Hang in there, guys. Better days will come "

Reem Al-Shihabi from United States of America - Ba Visual Representation (Specialize in Film and Media)
LOVED is a poetic film about a daughter's inner conflict and struggle to cope with her mother's abandonment. It explores the complexities and emotions of how one feels when an important person in his or her life leaves. After years of oblivion, the daughter gradually begins to understand that everything happened for a reason. All the hate that once settled in her heart was only a temporary mask for the love that runs in the very core.
"During the quarantine I was very demotivated, because I felt very confined both physically and creatively. However, one silver lining of the quarantine was being able to reflect on my past thoughts and feelings, and in turn this led to the concept of my diploma movie. "

Sief Bedour from Egypt - Ba Media Design
His project is called "MOFA Projection" a projection mapping on an architectural model from a building of my favorite where I came from in Cairo, Egypt. MOFA stands for the ministry of foreign affairs building in Cairo. This Building is close to all my memories while growing up and one of the most noticeable buildings in downtown Cairo, and since the projection mapping idea was never implied in Cairo's buildings decided to show how they would look like. Below you can check the picture of the original building and the process of his diploma work creation, so his steps in this project were to create a market model of the building which he did in a laser cutting studio.
"It has been hectic during the quarantine times working on this alongside the creative blockage coming from the coronavirus aftermath, But I have been thinking positively about it and working on more and more animations to produce the final outcome of my diploma."

Baturay Ertas from Turkey - Ba Visual Representation (Specialize in Film and Media)
Film making is teamwork, so it was challenging to shoot the movie alone and find an interesting topic which I can actualize in this circumstances. Even though, I couldn't work on it with my lecturers in person, all the online consultations and courses were well organized and I had opportunities to get useful and helpful feedback from my supervisors during this period. In the end, it was a good experience for me to develop my skills during this home quarantine time and I think we did a nice job together!
Most of the people got so bored and felt self-conscious during the home quarantine. But there are also people who are pretty happy about this situation. The movie “Night Walk” is about a girl who is enjoying the empty city and feels free during everybody else gets anxious about the virus.

Yuhan Huang from China - Ba Phototgraphy

"Since the quarantine started I have been in contact with my diploma thesis consultant constantly via zoom or email to help me double-check my work.
