Join FEIR HUB student researchers as they reveal what their research tells us about one of the most important challenges facing family-owned businesses: transferring a company, its values, and its future to the next generation. Through a series of engaging short presentations, participants will discover the factors that can make succession a success, the hidden risks that often lead to failure, and how sustainability, responsible leadership, and innovation influence long-term survival.
Whether you come from an entrepreneurial family, plan to start your own business, or are simply curious about what keeps companies alive across generations, this session offers fascinating insights into the human side of business continuity.
What kind of jobs will be available ten years from now? Which professions will disappear, which new careers will emerge, and what skills will make people successful in a world increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence?
This interactive session invites students and visitors to imagine the workplace of 2035. Together we will explore how AI, digital transformation, sustainability, demographic change, and evolving employee expectations are reshaping careers and organizations. Participants will discuss future professions, new forms of leadership, wellbeing at work, diversity and inclusion, and the human skills that technology cannot replace.
Rather than predicting a single future, this conversation challenges participants to think creatively about the opportunities, uncertainties, and exciting career paths that may lie ahead. Will your dream job still exist in 2035, or will you be preparing for a profession that has not yet been invented?
